Starting a business in asia?

Think again.Dreaming of starting a business in asia or south east asia may bankrupt you.I hear this all the time a guy wants to move to a tropical paradise and starting a business.Well that is a good thing but do you know that in most countries in asia foreigners cant start anything alone.They are required by the law to have a local partner.Good luck finding some one you can trust .Then its the paper work there is no way that you will understand the bureaucracy.Lets say that you did all the above,Now you have to deal with the locals and of course since you are foreigner they will try to take as much as they can.There is a long list of just basic stuff you have to watch out for.I will come back to that another time,but think again why leave a comfortable life just for maybe you could make a few dollars.I will write a lot about this topic because people think it is very easy thing to do.
